Description

Monardella villosa – coyote mint. Purple flowers in spring – cut them back and they will flower again through fall. More heat resistant and more spreading than Monardella odoratissima. Excellent for feeding the pollinators. This is found in more coastal California from SLO county up and somewhat inland as well as east to the Sierras.
