Salvia brandegee ‘Pacific Blue’ – is a selection from the Santa Barbara Bontanic Garden. The are easy to grow and will do well in part shade or sun. The best thing however is that they BLOOM EARLY! I have pictures of them flowering in December through the end of March. Finding plants that flower in winter is a good thing. These also feed all the flying things.
