Description

Romneya coulteri- matilija poppy. These are the ones where the flowers look like a big fried egg. The flowers can reach 6″ across. They can reach 8′ tall and spread by runners and can cover a big area in time. Flower time is April through July. Excellent for bees and great cut flowers too. You’ll get much better results if you plant from October to early March and don’t break the roots.
