Heuchera maxima- Island Alum Root is native to the 3 northern Channel Islands.  Sun or shade near the coast like Ventura or Santa Monica but full shade in more inland areas. Large evergreen leaves with flowers from spring through early summer. The flowers also give off nectar for both bees and hummingbirds.
