Desert mallow with red flowers. Appears to be a selection of Sphaeralcea ambigua but somewhat smaller at just under 3′ x 3′ and with red flowers instead or orange .  Plant out in full sun, cut back flowers when done blooming and they will regrow and flowers again. Excellent pollinator plant for bees. Also, food plant for the painted lady butterfly caterpillars.
