Iris ‘Blue Hummingbird’ is one of our pacific coast irises hybrids. It is a cross between ‘Bonnie Rose’, which is one of our other hybrids and ‘Ocean Blue’, which is a Ghio hybrid. All of these hybrids can trace their ancestry to the 12 native pacific coast irises. In our region these should be planted in your shade garden.
