Capenteria californica – fairly unusual in nature. Grows at the foothills of the Sierra’s in Fresno County. It’s been used in cultivation for many many years but can be a challenge. Will grow just fine if planted out in a shaded area with relatively well drained soil. The flowers are sweetly fragrant too. Not too much summer water.
