Salvia ‘Pacific Blue’ has it roots in the Channel Islands then selected as a seedling at the Santa Barbara Botanic Garden. It has dark purple/blue flowers in late winter into spring. It will grow and flower heavily in full sun to semi-shaded areas. For hot inland areas consider growing in semi-shade. It’s fairly large scale growing 4′ x 6′. A hummingbird favorite too!
